We stayed in the lodge. A bit dated but was very very clean and was an excellent value. The breakfast was not included but for $10, purchased eggs, very large slice of country ham, perfectly browned potatoes with biscuits and gravy. We had dinner which was very good. The salads were very nice and large. We had a glass of wine with dinner. The staff was wonderful and would absolutely stay there again. A great value!
Great Lodge. Spacious rooms. The restaurant is good. The salad bar is amazing. I highly recommend it. My hubby and I extended our stay one more night and the front desk person was very helpful. All the staff we interacted with were friendly. The rooms were nice. The balcony looked out to woods. Plenty of wildlife. Saw deer, bats, birds, and squirrels.
Nice, scenic, location, with an abundance of facilities at reasonable prices. Food at the restaurant was plentiful and good. Rooms are clean and well maintained with nice decks with views into the forest. Lots of hiking trails to explore...and of course cave tours!
Booked online and got a great price. It was a quiet and off the path location. Lodge was warm & friendly front staff. Room was clean and beds were clean. Have your own little patio which I liked. They don’t offer any free toiletries but you can purchase what you forgot at the front desk. They do also have a basic restaurant located in the lodge as well for convenience. We didn’t eat there. Beds were comfy as well. We only stayed 1 night for a riding trip but would stay again. It did the job.
Wonderful trails. Cascade cave guided tour was very interesting and informative. Room's ac unit was very loud. The sheets, pillows and blanket were a bit scratchy. Bed was comfortable besides the normal impact of bleached linens. Balcony view wasn't much except for kitchen workers smoking and conversing at all hours. Will request a room on the main section even if not a king size bed. Roads are curvy and our cave tour guide was run off the road on the way to lead her tour. She was so dedicated to the job that she still gave the tour.
Rooms were clean and very nice. The food at Tierney's Cavern was delicious. We had the buffet one night and there were good selections. Wait staff were all very friendly. Service was very fast.
